GROUP CLASSES

Each class is designed for 10 hours of class time over 5 weeks.

As described on the pricing page, you need to register and pay in advance. Register at least 5 days before class begins and get a $25 discount! Also, if you have a group of 3 or more, we can a schedule a class just for you!

Beginner 1:
This is a course that focuses on basic Spanish and is for first time Spanish students. We will be learning how to talk in the present tense for formal and informal situations and also use the present tense forms of the irregular verbs “estar”, “ser’, “tener” y “hacer”. Furthermore, basic vocabulary will be taught.

Starting Monday April 14th and ending Wednesday May 14th.

Beginner 2:
This is a course for those who already have had a contact with Spanish and are comfortable with the present tense. We are going to be focusing on irregular verbs in the present tense (different than verbs covered in the Beginner 1 course – specifically, stem change verbs (hacer, salir, conocer, decir, etc), reflexive verbs, uses of “hay”, “estar”, and superlatives. Also additional vocabulary will be taught.

Beginner 3:
Building on B1 and B2, the student will have more conversation practice, more vocabulary, and introduction to the past tense. We concentrate on communicating through the use of role playing, discussions, texts, and games in the present and past tenses.

Starting Tuesday April 15th and ending Thursday May 15th


Intermediate 1:
This course is designed for students who have completed the Beginner courses or already have a good base in Spanish and want to refresh. Although our focus will be on conversation, we will be studying irregular verbs in past tense, imprefect past tense, and reflexive verbs in past tense.

Starting Tuesday April 15th and ending Thursday May 15th.

Intermediate 2:
Building on the Intermediate 1, we will be reviewing imperfect past tense and studying future tense and directs/indirect objects in this course.

Starting Tuesday April 15th and ending Thursday May 15th.

Intermediate Advanced:
This is a course for students who are nearing fluency in Spanish. This course uses the material taught in previous courses and focuses on using them together in conversation and grammar exercises. Furthermore, some specifics such as idioms and slang are introduced to give more flavor of how Spanish is actually spoken. The students should have had previous contact with future and imperfect past tenses, direct and indirect objects.

Once you register for your class, we will email your course confirmation, which will contain the following information: course schedule, course location, suggested textbook and supplies (if appropriate), and withdrawal policy. Please check your confirmation thoroughly to verify that everything is correct as soon as you receive it.

We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. This decision will be made 3 business days prior to the class begin date. In such a case, tuition will be refunded in full.
